Who Are We?

We are the Ridleys – board game aficionados, lovers of sitcoms, and nerdiest of nerds. We are a husband and wife pair who fell deep into 2-player board games during the pandemic, and have been addicted ever since. Our collection of board games now numbers well over 100, ranging from timeless classics such as Othello, Rummikub, and Monopoly to newer favorites like 7 Wonders Duel, Sagrada, and Sushi Go.

We started this site as a way of sharing our love and passion for board games with others. Board games are the cornerstone of our relationships with our friends and family (sometimes peacefully and sometimes forcefully) and are a bedrock of our competitive relationship with each other as well. We hope you come away from our site with that same feeling of enthusiasm and excitement for the world’s greatest pasttime – and maybe a little inspiration of your own.

We currently live in Washington, DC (shoutout to Labyrinth Games for being our main game supplier!) with our two pets: Babka (left) and Latke (right).
